“I liked that Jacob and Clarissa clearly had a general script already for what they would say and how they would progress through their time with the kiddos, while still remaining flexible in modifying details to better suit my preschool and transitional kindergarten kiddos. "The author visit for the Squirrel and the Moon was so adorable! The author, Jacob, was informative about his process for writing his book, and the illustrator, Clarissa, shared her experience creating the pictures for the book. Both the author and the illustrator had examples of their work from childhood, and also told about how they got interested in writing and illustrating. Our students especially enjoyed the musical version of the book with the squirrel puppets."
